Quality assurance with ISO certified equipment
Pioneer utilizes ISO certified CMM inspection devices calibrated to ISO standard 17025. Pioneer certifies dies' dimensional tolerances and maintains a perpetual archive of each die's history.
Certification is per NIST ISO 10012:2003 and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994.
Pioneer-Dietecs Dies
Pioneer-Dietecs manufactures specimen dies with multi-axis traveling-wire electrical discharge machines (EDM). All Pioneer dies are EDM'd inside and out for uniform, controlled bevels to enhance sharpness and minimize cut-part distortion.
Pioneer-Dietecs offers five types of cutting dies:- ASTM laboratory specimen cutting dies with extreme accuracy from CAD/CAM Methodology with CNC Machining Centers & Wire EDM
- CNC manufactured cutting dies from stainless steel or tool steel with enhanced edge sharpness and controlled bevels for perfect cuts and no distortion for bio-medical and other close tolerance applications
- High speed die systems for singulation, depaneling, and separation of printed circuit board arrays
- CNC laser cut steel rule dies
- Forged steel clicker dies
Pioneer-Dietecs Die-Cutting Press Systems
Pioneer offers three types of presses:
- Custom, clean-room approved, pneumatically-activated press systems of any size including bench-top and stand-alone models that are manually operated or semi-automatic
- Hydraulic clicker presses
- Manual toggle presses
